KIRKCUDBRIGHT SWIMMING POOL
Welcome to Kirkcudbright Swimming Pool. Opened in 1997 our safe, clean swimming pool measures 20m x 8.5m. The water depth is 0.9m, graduating to maximum depth of 1.5m in the deepest part of the pool.
We pride ourselves on the high standard of our water quality and the cleanliness of the whole facility.
ADULT/CHILD RATIOS.
- Each child under 4 years old must be accompanied in the water by an adult.
- An adult may be accompanied by two children aged 4 – 7 years.
- Children aged 8 years and over may be unaccompanied.
- These ratios apply regardless of whether or not children are able to swim.
- An adult is considered to be a responsible person over the age of 16.
- Special sessions for adults with 2 children under 4 years are shown on the timetable.

FACILITIES.
As well as the main pool, we have a spa pool, sauna and fitness suite. These facilities are available during pool opening hours. Certain age/health restrictions do apply, so it’s always best to phone before your visit, if you wish to use these facilities.
ACCESS.
We have designated parking for wheelchair users and ramps with handrails at the entrance.
We have changing/shower facilities with access straight onto the poolside. These are equipped with an adjustable height shower bed and a ceiling track hoist. For people who have difficulty with steps, a hoist is available to safely lift swimmers in and out of the water.
AVAILABLE TO HIRE!
Anything you could possibly need for a swim! Swimming costumes, goggles, arm bands, baby rings and towels. It is also possible to purchase swim-nappies for small children, hair drier tokens and toiletries.
SPECIAL SESSIONS.
To ensure that all our customers are able to enjoy their swim in the way they most prefer, we have sessions which are designated for specific groups of people. These all be shown on the timetable and include; Aquacise, over 50s, adults only, fun –time (large’ toys’ in the water!) and adult with toddler sessions.
